What you will do The Enterprise Automation Manager is a strategic technology leader responsible for the design, administration, and advancement of Miller Environmental’s ERP ecosystem and its transition into an AI-enabled enterprise environment. This role goes beyond system support – serving as a key architect of intelligent, data-driven operations that improve compliance, efficiency, visibility, and decision-making. Acting as a senior liaison between business functions and technology, this position ensures ERP platforms, analytics, automation, and AI tools are aligned with organizational goals, regulatory standards, and long-term digital transformation. The Enterprise Automation Manager collaborates with department leaders to modernize processes, reduce manual work, and enable predictive and proactive insights across the business. The development and oversight of digital tools and platforms is managed to streamline business operations, reduce manual tasks, and enhance back-office efficiency at Miller Environmental. Key Accountabilities

    • Lead a zero-incident culture
    • Ensure full regulatory compliance
    • Drive prevention and continuous improvement
  2. Operations & People Leadership
    • Lead plant teams through Supervisors
    • Build a culture of accountability and engagement
    • Develop workforce capability
  3. Process & Technical Leadership
    • Drive process optimization and scalability
    • Translate technical solutions into operational execution
    • Ensure resilience beyond key individuals
  4. Adaptive Operations Management
    • Lead in a non-steady-state environment
    • Align operations with evolving waste streams
    • Continuously adjust capacity and processes
  5. Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Integrate Operations with Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, and Commercial teams
    • Align safety, operational, and business objectives
  6. Financial & Capital Leadership
    • Develop and manage operating budgets (OPEX)
    • Lead cost control and efficiency improvements
    • Prepare and support:
      • Operational improvement proposals
      • Capital investment (CAPEX) business cases
What You Will Need Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in:
    • Chemical Engineering (preferred)
    • Mechanical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering
    • Related technical disciplines
Experience
  • 10+ years in industrial or plant operations
  • Experience in:
    • Chemical processing / hazardous waste (preferred)
    • Complex, variable production environments
  • Strong background in:
    • Safety leadership
    • Process improvement
    • Operational management under changing conditions
