Specialty Recycling

Overview

Miller Environmental is a strong supporter of recycling and continuously investigates options that can be offered to our customers. Over the years we have implemented various programs such as solvent recycling and reclamation; semi-precious metal recovery that includes nickel, copper, lead, vanadium, molybdenum, and zinc; plastic shredding and washing; container re-certification.

Through various processes,

Miller has established ways of recycling or repurposing several waste streams. Solvents and other organic substances are blended as an alternative fuel, alkaline waste is used to neutralize acidic waste, and spent catalyst is reacted out and used as a reagent for other processes. During the stabilization process, water is removed and then reused in other processes.
